Livre-docente (1991) e Professor Titular (2006 at\u00e9 2014) junto ao Departamento de Engenharia de Estruturas da Escola de Engenharia de S\u00e3o Carlos da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 EESC\/USP. Atualmente \u00e9 Professor S\u00eanior do Departamento de Engenharia de Estruturas da EESC-USP e bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq \u2013 N\u00edvel 1A.<br \/>\nRealizou est\u00e1gio de p\u00f3s-doutorado no Civil and Environmental Department da University of Michigan, na condi\u00e7\u00e3o de bolsista da FAPESP (1994-1995), no qual realizou estudos nas \u00e1reas de concreto pr\u00e9-moldado e de concreto com fibras.<br \/>\nAutor ou co-autor de aproximadamente 260 trabalhos t\u00e9cnicos completos publicados em anais de congressos e revistas.
