De acordo com a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (Absolar), respons\u00e1vel pelo levantamento, a pot\u00eancia \u00e9 suficiente para abastecer 500 resid\u00eancias e atender o consumo de 2 milh\u00f5es de brasileiros. O resultado tamb\u00e9m coloca o Brasil entre os 30 pa\u00edses do mundo, de 195, que possuem mais de 1 GW de fonte solar.<\/p>\n<p>O presidente da Absolar, Rodrigo Sauaia, reconhece avan\u00e7os, mas destaca que o pa\u00eds ainda est\u00e1 abaixo do seu potencial. \u201cO Brasil est\u00e1 mais de 15 anos atrasado no uso da energia solar fotovoltaica. Temos condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ficar entre os principais pa\u00edses do mundo nesse mercado, assim como j\u00e1 somos em energia hidrel\u00e9trica, biomassa e e\u00f3lica. Para isso, precisamos de um programa nacional estruturado para acelerar o desenvolvimento da energia solar fotovoltaica\u201d, disse por meio de nota.<\/p>\n<p>Ele tamb\u00e9m explicou que essa marca \u00e9 decorrente do crescimento dos mercados de gera\u00e7\u00e3o centralizada e gera\u00e7\u00e3o distribu\u00edda solar fotovoltaica em 2017. \u201cNa gera\u00e7\u00e3o centralizada, contamos com a inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o de grandes usinas solares fotovoltaicas contratadas pelo governo federal em leil\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica realizados em 2014 e 2015. As usinas em funcionamento est\u00e3o localizadas principalmente nos estados da Bahia, Piau\u00ed, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Norte e Pernambuco e representam uma pot\u00eancia total de 0,935 GW\u201d, informou.<\/p>\n<p>Na gera\u00e7\u00e3o distribu\u00edda, tamb\u00e9m foi registrado crescimento no uso pela popula\u00e7\u00e3o, empresas e governos de sistemas fotovoltaicos em resid\u00eancias, com\u00e9rcios, ind\u00fastrias, pr\u00e9dios p\u00fablicos e na zona rural, em todas as regi\u00f5es do pa\u00eds. A pot\u00eancia total, nesse caso, \u00e9 de 0,164 GW. \u201cSomando estes dois segmentos do mercado, atingimos praticamente 1,1 GW operacionais no pa\u00eds desde o in\u00edcio de 2018\u201d,
