O prazo \u00e9 uma d\u00e9cada a menos do que se havia previsto.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o Engadget, nos \u00faltimos sete anos, a Calif\u00f3rnia vive o boom nos setores de energia solar e e\u00f3lica. Durante esse tempo, o pre\u00e7o da energia solar caiu para menos de US$ 30 em 2016 de cerca de US$ 136 por megawatt-hora praticado em 2008, enquanto os pre\u00e7os da energia e\u00f3lica ca\u00edram para US$ 51 em 2015 em compara\u00e7\u00e3o aos US$ 97 por megawatt-hora em 2007. O relat\u00f3rio mostra que, enquanto isso acontence, as emiss\u00f5es de gases de efeito estufa provenientes da gera\u00e7\u00e3o de eletricidade est\u00e3o diminuindo ano a ano no estado.<\/p>\n<p>Atualmente, a Calif\u00f3rnia tem como meta reduzir as emiss\u00f5es de carbono em 80% at\u00e9 2050.
