{"id":27316,"date":"2017-01-27T00:43:19","date_gmt":"2017-01-27T00:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=27316"},"modified":"2017-01-27T10:53:17","modified_gmt":"2017-01-27T10:53:17","slug":"chineses-criam-papel-a-prova-de-agua-e-de-fogo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2017\/01\/27\/chineses-criam-papel-a-prova-de-agua-e-de-fogo\/","title":{"rendered":"Chineses criam papel \u00e0 prova de \u00e1gua e de fogo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nO papel n\u00e3o queima porque \u00e9 inorg\u00e2nico, n\u00e3o possuindo celulose em sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o. <em>[Imagem: Fei-Fei Chen et al. &#8211; 10.1021\/acsami.6b12838]<\/p>\n<p><\/em><strong>Papel que n\u00e3o molha e que n\u00e3o queima <br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nMais de dois mil\u00eanios depois de terem inventado o papel, os chineses aperfei\u00e7oaram sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o, tornando-a resistente \u00e0 \u00e1gua e ao fogo. <\/p>\n<p>Pesquisadores do Instituto de Cer\u00e2mica de Xangai desenvolveram um papel que pode ser lavado sem ter o texto escrito nele danificado, al\u00e9m de suportar um calor de mais de 200\u00b0C sem se queimar. <\/p>\n<p>Ying-Jie Zhu, um dos respons\u00e1veis pelo projeto, disse que, embora j\u00e1 existam pap\u00e9is que possam resistir a esses elementos, nenhum deles agrupa as duas caracter\u00edsticas simultaneamente. <\/p>\n<p>O novo papel superresistente \u00e9 capaz de repelir n\u00e3o apenas a \u00e1gua, mas tamb\u00e9m outros l\u00edquidos como caf\u00e9, suco, ch\u00e1 e at\u00e9 mostarda e ketchup. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Papel inorg\u00e2nico <br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nA chave para que o papel resista tanto ao fogo quanto \u00e0 \u00e1gua est\u00e1 na substitui\u00e7\u00e3o da celulose, usada na fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o dos pap\u00e9is tradicionais, por hidroxiapatita, um mineral formado por fosfato de c\u00e1lcio. <\/p>\n<p>Quando o mineral \u00e9 tratado com oleato de s\u00f3dio, sua estrutura cristalina se rearranja, dando origem a nanofios muito longos. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Durante a filtra\u00e7\u00e3o a v\u00e1cuo, os nanofios ultralongos de hidroxiapatita se unem espontaneamente em microfibras rugosas, evitando o tedioso processo de fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o para construir a estrutura hier\u00e1rquica; as microfibras auto-rugosas ainda d\u00e3o ao papel inorg\u00e2nico uma estrutura em camadas parecida com a da madrep\u00e9rola,&#8221; descreveu a equipe.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"145\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/papel-a-prova-fogo-e-agua1.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nEm lugar das fibras de celulose, a trama do papel \u00e9 formada por nanofios de hidroxiapatita.
