{"id":26380,"date":"2016-01-21T00:30:53","date_gmt":"2016-01-21T00:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=26380"},"modified":"2016-01-21T11:16:29","modified_gmt":"2016-01-21T11:16:29","slug":"perovskita-comeca-a-ameacar-celulas-solares-de-silicio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2016\/01\/21\/perovskita-comeca-a-ameacar-celulas-solares-de-silicio\/","title":{"rendered":"Perovskita come\u00e7a a amea\u00e7ar c\u00e9lulas solares de sil\u00edcio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>J\u00e1 se sabia que as c\u00e9lulas solares de perovskita vieram para ficar. <\/p>\n<p>O que n\u00e3o se sabia \u00e9 que elas come\u00e7ariam a amea\u00e7ar as c\u00e9lulas solares de sil\u00edcio t\u00e3o rapidamente. <\/p>\n<p>As c\u00e9lulas solares de perovskita s\u00e3o potencialmente muito mais baratas do que as de sil\u00edcio, al\u00e9m de o material poder ser usado para fabricar c\u00e9lulas solares ou LEDs, dependendo da necessidade. <\/p>\n<p>Agora, duas equipes, trabalhando de forma independente, conseguiram dois avan\u00e7os que fizeram este novo material fotovoltaico crescer e aumentar de efici\u00eancia.<\/p>\n<p>\n<em>Ilustra\u00e7\u00e3o 3D das mol\u00e9culas de FDT na superf\u00edcie dos cristais de perovskita. Hein\/EPFL]<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Efici\u00eancia <br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nMichael Saliba, da Escola Polit\u00e9cnica Federal de Lausanne, na Su\u00ed\u00e7a, bateu o recorde de efici\u00eancia na gera\u00e7\u00e3o fotovoltaica com c\u00e9lulas solares de perovskita. <\/p>\n<p>Seus prot\u00f3tipos superaram um patamar significativo, chegando a exatos 20,2%. <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, a equipe resolveu o problema do material transportador de cargas positivas na c\u00e9lula solar, substituindo os caros materiais usados em laborat\u00f3rio at\u00e9 agora. <\/p>\n<p>O novo material, chamado FDT (sigla em ingl\u00eas para fluoreno-ditiofeno dissim\u00e9trico), custa apenas um quinto do pre\u00e7o dos materiais usuais. Mais importante, ele pode ser facilmente modificado, fornecendo um esquema para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de toda uma fam\u00edlia de materiais transportadores de cargas positivas. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As c\u00e9lulas solares de perovskita de melhor rendimento usam materiais de transporte de lacunas que s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis de fabricar e purificar, e s\u00e3o proibitivamente caros. Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o, o FDT \u00e9 f\u00e1cil de sintetizar e purificar e seu custo \u00e9 estimado em um quinto daquele dos materiais existentes,&#8221; disse o professor Mohammad Nazeeruddin.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"269\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/010115160120-celulas-solares-perovskita.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<em>O novo processo de fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o permite fabricar grandes pastilhas de perovskita, permitindo aumentar a efici\u00eancia de c\u00e9lulas solares grandes. [Imagem: Brown University\/NREL]&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/em><strong>Tamanho <\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Mengjin Yang, da Universidade Brown, nos EUA, ficou no patamar j\u00e1 bem estabelecido de efici\u00eancia dessas c\u00e9lulas solares, com seus prot\u00f3tipos alcan\u00e7ando a faixa dos 15%. <\/p>\n<p>Mas sua grande inova\u00e7\u00e3o foi fabricar cristais grandes de perovskita, conseguindo pastilhas com \u00e1reas superiores a um cent\u00edmetro quadrado. <\/p>\n<p>Ainda \u00e9 pouco perto das pastilhas de sil\u00edcio, mas \u00e9 uma demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o cabal de que as perovskitas s\u00e3o bem mais do que curiosidades de laborat\u00f3rio, e que est\u00e3o prontas para caminhar dos laborat\u00f3rios para as f\u00e1bricas. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;O problema com as perovskitas \u00e9 que, quando voc\u00ea tenta fabricar filmes grandes com as t\u00e9cnicas tradicionais, geram-se defeitos no filme que diminuem a efici\u00eancia,&#8221; explicou o professor Nitin Padture, coordenador da equipe. <\/p>\n<p>A solu\u00e7\u00e3o foi usar precursores org\u00e2nicos no ambiente de crescimento dos cristais que funcionam como cola para os pequenos cristais emergentes de perovskita, que ent\u00e3o se juntam para formar um cristal grande. <\/p>\n<p>A equipe agora quer otimizar a efici\u00eancia das suas c\u00e9lulas solares e j\u00e1 fala em alcan\u00e7ar o patamar de 25%. <\/p>\n<p><em>Bibliografia: <\/p>\n<p>Square-Centimeter Solution-Processed Planar CH3NH3PbI3 Perovskite Solar Cells with Efficiency Exceeding 15% <br \/>\nMengjin Yang, Yuanyuan Zhou, Yining Zeng, Chun-Sheng Jiang, Nitin P.
