{"id":26357,"date":"2016-01-15T00:30:38","date_gmt":"2016-01-15T00:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=26357"},"modified":"2016-01-15T10:25:54","modified_gmt":"2016-01-15T10:25:54","slug":"cola-metalica-promete-substituir-solda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2016\/01\/15\/cola-metalica-promete-substituir-solda\/","title":{"rendered":"Cola met\u00e1lica promete substituir solda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Um novo tipo de cola met\u00e1lica promete nada menos do que substituir o processo de soldagem. <\/p>\n<p>Tanto que Stephen Stagon e seus colegas da Universidade Northeastern, nos EUA, chamam-na de &#8220;solda sem calor&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Stagon diz que essa cola met\u00e1lica \u00e9 perfeita para juntar materiais eletr\u00f4nicos, dentro ou fora dos chips, pe\u00e7as delicadas de vidro ou mesmo filamentos met\u00e1licos dentro de uma l\u00e2mpada. <\/p>\n<p>A cola sela a temperatura ambiente mediante uma leve press\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>Quem explica detalhadamente o processo, logo abaixo, \u00e9 o professor Hanchen Huang, que j\u00e1 se juntou aos seus alunos para criar uma empresa e colocar a &#8220;solda sem calor&#8221; no mercado. <\/p>\n<p>Cola met\u00e1lica <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tanto &#039;metal&#039; quanto &#039;cola&#039; s\u00e3o termos familiares para a maioria das pessoas, mas sua combina\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 nova e se tornou poss\u00edvel gra\u00e7as a propriedades \u00fanicas de nanobast\u00f5es met\u00e1licos &#8211; hastes extremamente pequenas com n\u00facleos de metal que n\u00f3s revestimos com o elemento \u00edndio de um lado e o elemento g\u00e1lio do outro. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Estas hastes revestidas s\u00e3o dispostas ao longo de um substrato como os dentes em um pente: h\u00e1 um pente de baixo e um pente de cima. N\u00f3s ent\u00e3o entrela\u00e7amos esses &#039;dentes&#039;. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Quando o \u00edndio e o g\u00e1lio entram em contato, eles formam um l\u00edquido. O n\u00facleo de metal dos nanobast\u00f5es atua para transformar esse l\u00edquido em um s\u00f3lido. A cola resultante fornece a for\u00e7a e a condutividade t\u00e9rmica e el\u00e9trica de uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o met\u00e1lica,&#8221; explicou Huang. <\/p>\n<p>O pesquisador acrescenta que, al\u00e9m de resultar em conex\u00f5es met\u00e1licas similares \u00e0s obtidas com a solda a quente tradicional, a cola met\u00e1lica torna o processo mais r\u00e1pido, mais simples, com menor risco de danos \u00e0s pe\u00e7as e, acima de tudo, custa menos. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A cola met\u00e1lica tem m\u00faltiplas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es, muitas delas na ind\u00fastria eletr\u00f4nica. Como condutor de calor, ela pode substituir a pasta t\u00e9rmica atual, e como condutor el\u00e9trico pode substituir as soldas de hoje.
