{"id":26061,"date":"2015-10-15T00:26:07","date_gmt":"2015-10-15T00:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=26061"},"modified":"2015-10-15T15:18:55","modified_gmt":"2015-10-15T15:18:55","slug":"china-constroi-maior-radiotelescopio-do-mundo-para-detectar-vida-extraterrestre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2015\/10\/15\/china-constroi-maior-radiotelescopio-do-mundo-para-detectar-vida-extraterrestre\/","title":{"rendered":"China constr\u00f3i maior radiotelesc\u00f3pio do mundo para detectar vida extraterrestre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Uma vez pronta, espera-se que a estrutura permita detectar sinais de r\u00e1dio &#9472; potenciais ind\u00edcios de vida extraterrestre &#8211; em at\u00e9 1 milh\u00e3o de estrelas e sistemas solares. <br \/>\nAs obras, que come\u00e7aram em junho de 2011, devem terminar em setembro do ano que vem, a um custo estimado de US$ 110 milh\u00f5es (R$ 420 milh\u00f5es).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Radiotelesc\u00f3pio Esf\u00e9rico de 500 metros de Abertura (ou FAST, na sigla em ingl\u00eas) ter\u00e1 4,6 mil pain\u00e9is triangulares e ser\u00e1 semelhante ao Observat\u00f3rio Arecebibo, em Porto Rico, pois usar\u00e1 uma cavidade natural (conhecida como &#8220;karst&#8221;) para dar suporte ao disco do telesc\u00f3pio. <br \/>\nAtualmente, o Observat\u00f3rio Arcebibo \u00e9 atualmente o maior do mundo, com 305 metros de di\u00e2metro. <br \/>\nComo o nome sugere, a estrutura ter\u00e1 um di\u00e2metro de 500 metros.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A China espera que a alta precis\u00e3o do radiotelesc\u00f3pio permita aos astr\u00f4nomos estudar a Via L\u00e1ctea e outras gal\u00e1xias, al\u00e9m de detectar estrelas a milh\u00f5es de dist\u00e2ncia da Terra. <br \/>\nEspera-se tamb\u00e9m que a estrutura funcione como uma poderosa esta\u00e7\u00e3o terrestre para miss\u00f5es espaciais.<\/p>\n<p>Vida extraterrestre&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A maior expectativa, no entanto, \u00e9 de que o radiotelesc\u00f3pio potencialize as buscas por vida extraterrestre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Em julho deste ano, a Nasa, ag\u00eancia espacial americana, anunciou a descoberta do Kepler 452-B, um planeta com caracter\u00edsticas semelhantes \u00e0s da Terra e cuja proximidade com o Sol \u00e9 ideal para apoiar uma atmosfera e \u00e1gua no estado l\u00edquido.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Segundo especialistas, por\u00e9m, ainda n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel detectar sinais de r\u00e1dio, ou potenciais ind\u00edcios de vida extraterrestre, com a infraestrutura dispon\u00edvel atualmente. <br \/>\nEles acreditam, contudo, que o cen\u00e1rio se modifique com o in\u00edcio das opera\u00e7\u00f5es do FAST \u2013 cuja \u00e1rea ocupa o equivalente a 30 campos de futebol.<\/p>\n<p>Estrutura&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O radiotelesc\u00f3pio vai usar uma superf\u00edcie ativa que se ajusta para criar par\u00e1bolas em diferentes dire\u00e7\u00f5es, com um disco de 300 metros de di\u00e2metro. <br \/>\nIsso significa que a estrutura n\u00e3o vai apontar diretamente para cima, mas permitir\u00e1 observar o c\u00e9u a um \u00e2ngulo de 40 graus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A depress\u00e3o Karst, onde o radiotelesc\u00f3pio est\u00e1 sendo constru\u00eddo, \u00e9 grande o suficiente para acomodar a estrutura de 500 metros de di\u00e2metro e permitir que ela seja posicionada a um \u00e2ngulo de 40 graus. <br \/>\nSegundo os respons\u00e1veis pela constru\u00e7\u00e3o, o refletor principal ir\u00e1 corrigir o desvio esf\u00e9rico do ch\u00e3o sem sistemas de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o complexos.<\/p>\n<p><b>Autor: BBC<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A China est\u00e1 construindo o maior radiotelesc\u00f3pio do mundo na prov\u00edncia de Guizhou, no sudoeste do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6,40],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-26061","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-noticias","7":"category-tecnologia"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
