Bowman]<\/p>\n<p><\/em><br \/>\nA NASA realizou os primeiros testes de voo livre do prot\u00f3tipo Grease Lightning or GL-10. <\/p>\n<p>O avi\u00e3o do tipo VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing, aterragem e pouso verticais) possui nada menos que 10 motores el\u00e9tricos. <\/p>\n<p>O nome do avi\u00e3o (Grease Lightning) \u00e9 uma refer\u00eancia ao \u00f3leo vegetal usado nos motores a biodiesel do prot\u00f3tipo original, respons\u00e1veis por gerar a eletricidade. S\u00e3o dois motores diesel, de 8 hp cada um. <\/p>\n<p>Mas agora a NASA anunciou que est\u00e1 trabalhando em uma vers\u00e3o menor a bateria. O prot\u00f3tipo original, diesel-el\u00e9trico, tem 6,1 metros de envergadura de asas, enquanto a vers\u00e3o a bateria tem exatamente a metade disso, e pesa 28,1 quilogramas. <\/p>\n<p>Toda a fuselagem do prot\u00f3tipo foi constru\u00edda por impress\u00e3o 3D.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"327\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/nasa2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Esta imagem d\u00e1 uma ideia melhor da real dimens\u00e3o do prot\u00f3tipo.
