{"id":25210,"date":"2015-01-06T00:14:32","date_gmt":"2015-01-06T00:14:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=25210"},"modified":"2015-01-06T15:56:34","modified_gmt":"2015-01-06T15:56:34","slug":"embalagem-biodegradavel-de-bagaco-de-cana-e-oleo-de-mamona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2015\/01\/06\/embalagem-biodegradavel-de-bagaco-de-cana-e-oleo-de-mamona\/","title":{"rendered":"Embalagem biodegrad\u00e1vel de baga\u00e7o de cana e \u00f3leo de mamona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pesquisadores da USP em Pirassununga (SP) desenvolveram embalagens biodegrad\u00e1veis e autodesmont\u00e1veis para transporte de frutas, hortali\u00e7as e bebidas. <\/p>\n<p>A grande vantagem \u00e9 a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o das mat\u00e9rias-primas tradicionais &#8211; geralmente pol\u00edmeros ou madeira &#8211; por pain\u00e9is produzidos com res\u00edduos de baga\u00e7o de cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar e resina poliuretana \u00e0 base de \u00f3leo de mamona. <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de ocuparem menos espa\u00e7o, as embalagens biodegrad\u00e1veis representam mais uma op\u00e7\u00e3o para reaproveitar os res\u00edduos da ind\u00fastria sucroalcooleira. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Apesar de produzidas em escala laboratorial, as embalagens apresentam potencial para terem um custo inferior aos materiais utilizados atualmente,&#8221; disse o professor Juliano Fiorelli, um dos coordenadores do trabalho. <\/p>\n<p>Baga\u00e7o, p\u00f3 e painel <\/p>\n<p>O processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o dos pain\u00e9is biodegrad\u00e1veis come\u00e7a com a secagem do baga\u00e7o de cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar, que \u00e9 ent\u00e3o mo\u00eddo para obten\u00e7\u00e3o de part\u00edculas de at\u00e9 8 mil\u00edmetros. Esse p\u00f3 \u00e9 misturado \u00e0 resina poliuretana \u00e0 base de \u00f3leo de mamona.<\/p>\n<p>A mistura final \u00e9 colocada em um molde e prensada para assumir a forma e ganhar a resist\u00eancia de um painel. O material passou por v\u00e1rios ensaios f\u00edsicos e mec\u00e2nicos para determinar sua densidade, inchamento em espessura, absor\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua e resist\u00eancia \u00e0 flex\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>A partir desses pain\u00e9is foram fabricados tr\u00eas modelos de embalagens: para bebidas, frutas m\u00e9dias (laranja, pera e ma\u00e7\u00e3) e uma embalagem autodesmont\u00e1vel para transporte de frutas pequenas (morangos e uvas). <\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores est\u00e3o agora estudando a fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de outros modelos de caixas e embalagens para o setor aliment\u00edcio. <\/p>\n<p>A equipe espera encontrar parceiros na ind\u00fastria para que o processo possa ser escalonado e sair do laborat\u00f3rio em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao mercado.<\/p>\n<p><b>Autor: Ag\u00eancia USP<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pesquisadores da USP em Pirassununga (SP) desenvolveram embalagens biodegrad\u00e1veis e autodesmont\u00e1veis para transporte de frutas, hortali\u00e7as e bebidas.
