A obra contratada pela Companhia de Saneamento B\u00e1sico do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo (Sabesp) vai trazer 4,7 mil litros de \u00e1gua por segundo da bacia do Rio Ribeira, o que representa 6,4% da capacidade m\u00e1xima retirada do Sistema Cantareira: 73 mil litros por segundo. <\/p>\n<p>A capta\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 feita na Represa Cachoeira do Fran\u00e7a, formada pelo Rio Juqui\u00e1, entre Juquitiba e Ibi\u00fana, no Vale do Ribeira, a 100 km da capital. A \u00e1gua ser\u00e1 bombeada para vencer um desn\u00edvel de 300 metros na Serra de Paranapiacaba e atender\u00e1 1,5 milh\u00e3o de moradores de Barueri, Carapicu\u00edba, Cotia, Itapevi, Jandira, Santana de Parna\u00edba e Vargem Grande Paulista. Ontem, o Sistema Cantareira, que responde por 47% do suprimento h\u00eddrico da Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de S\u00e3o Paulo, estava com 21,4% da sua capacidade de armazenamento, o menor n\u00edvel nos \u00faltimos dez anos. <\/p>\n<p>A obra de S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o est\u00e1 na fase de instala\u00e7\u00e3o dos canteiros. O investimento de R$ 2,2 bilh\u00f5es ser\u00e1 das construtoras Camargo Corr\u00eaa e Andrade Gutierrez, por meio de contrato de Parceria P\u00fablico-Privada (PPP) assinado com a Sabesp com prazo de 25 anos. O novo sistema ser\u00e1 interligado aos que j\u00e1 abastecem a Grande S\u00e3o Paulo. O \u00faltimo a ser criado foi o Alto Tiet\u00ea, conclu\u00eddo em 1993. <\/p>\n<p>A falta de chuvas e o calor colocam a capital e a Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana em risco de racionamento. De acordo com a Sabesp, os n\u00edveis n\u00e3o param de baixar, quando deveriam subir, j\u00e1 que este \u00e9 o per\u00edodo de chuvas mais intensas. No s\u00e1bado, a Sabesp anunciou um programa que dar\u00e1 descontos de 30% na conta de \u00e1gua e esgoto para os consumidores que reduzirem em ao menos 20% o consumo m\u00e9dio em 12 meses. Apesar da medida, a Sabesp ressalta que &#8220;n\u00e3o est\u00e1 faltando \u00e1gua na Grande S\u00e3o Paulo&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Em 2013, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia do Sistema Cantareira foi 69,13 mil litros por segundo. Mas, por causa da forte onda de calor, que fez de janeiro o mais quente na capital desde 1943, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o do m\u00eas passado chegou a 70,95 mil litros por segundo, com m\u00e1xima di\u00e1ria de 74,22 mil litros por segundo, de acordo com a Sabesp. <\/p>\n<p>Interior. No interior, munic\u00edpios abastecidos pela Sabesp no M\u00e9dio Tiet\u00ea e na regi\u00e3o central do Estado j\u00e1 enfrentam problemas de abastecimento, mas a companhia ainda n\u00e3o prev\u00ea b\u00f4nus para quem reduzir o consumo. Por enquanto, a medida vale apenas para os munic\u00edpios abastecidos pelo Sistema Cantareira, que atende as regi\u00f5es central e norte da capital, e outras nove cidades da Grande S\u00e3o Paulo. <\/p>\n<p>Segundo a Sabesp, os demais sistemas ainda t\u00eam reserva de \u00e1gua em n\u00edvel satisfat\u00f3rio.
