Ele ser\u00e1 lan\u00e7ado no mercado dos Estados Unidos nos pr\u00f3ximos meses como o \u00fanico da categoria capaz de atingir a velocidade de 136 km\/h usando somente a propuls\u00e3o el\u00e9trica, simplesmente com o acionamento de um comando existente no painel. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Entendemos que as pessoas valorizam o prazer de dirigir, tamb\u00e9m em se tratando de carros el\u00e9tricos com emiss\u00f5es zero&#8221;, diz Joe Bakaj, vice-presidente de Engenharia de Powertrain da Ford. &#8220;Isso inspirou nosso time de engenharia a equipar o C-MAX Energi com um bot\u00e3o que permite ao motorista rodar somente no modo el\u00e9trico com uma velocidade maior.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Com uma carga completa da bateria, o C-MAX Energi desenvolve 198 cv, contra 190 cv do Toyota Prius. No modo el\u00e9trico, sua autonomia \u00e9 de mais de 32 km \u2013 mais que o triplo deste competidor e dentro da m\u00e9dia de deslocamento dos motoristas americanos. O h\u00edbrido tamb\u00e9m tem autonomia total superior \u2013 885 km contra 869 km na compara\u00e7\u00e3o direta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Imagem: divulga\u00e7\u00e3o<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nTr\u00eas modos el\u00e9tricos&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O bot\u00e3o EV, montado no centro do painel, permite ao motorista selecionar tr\u00eas modos de opera\u00e7\u00e3o: h\u00edbrido normal (Auto), somente el\u00e9trico (Now) ou com economia de bateria (Later). <\/p>\n<p>No modo Auto, o computador de bordo seleciona automaticamente a melhor combina\u00e7\u00e3o de uso da bateria e do motor a gasolina, com base na pot\u00eancia exigida e carga dispon\u00edvel. <\/p>\n<p>No modo Now, o ve\u00edculo opera somente com a bateria. O motor a gasolina n\u00e3o \u00e9 usado a menos que o motorista acione um comando. Esse modo tamb\u00e9m ativa uma tela especial que monitora o funcionamento do sistema e d\u00e1 orienta\u00e7\u00f5es ao motorista para otimizar o uso de energia. <\/p>\n<p>O modo Later economiza energia el\u00e9trica da bateria para ser usada mais tarde, como por exemplo, quando se vai de uma rodovia para uma \u00e1rea residencial, de menor velocidade.
