{"id":22484,"date":"2012-07-03T23:39:04","date_gmt":"2012-07-03T23:39:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=22484"},"modified":"2012-07-03T11:34:24","modified_gmt":"2012-07-03T11:34:24","slug":"navio-cargueiro-a-vela-nao-dependera-de-petroleo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2012\/07\/03\/navio-cargueiro-a-vela-nao-dependera-de-petroleo\/","title":{"rendered":"Navio cargueiro a vela n\u00e3o depender\u00e1 de petr\u00f3leo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Os navios a vela v\u00e3o definitivamente voltar a fazer parte da paisagem dos oceanos e mares. <\/p>\n<p>O grupo B9 Energy anunciou o in\u00edcio dos esfor\u00e7os para a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um navio de grande porte que n\u00e3o depender\u00e1 do petr\u00f3leo. <\/p>\n<p>O navio, tamb\u00e9m chamado B9, usar\u00e1 o sistema de velas dyna-rig, que usa mastros independentes, autoportantes e retr\u00e1teis, o que dispensa os cabos. <\/p>\n<p>Para os tempos de calmarias, ele contar\u00e1 ainda com um motor tradicional, alimentado por biometano, um g\u00e1s liquefeito produzido a partir de biomassa. <\/p>\n<p>Segundo Kevin Forshaw, um dos participantes do projeto, o cons\u00f3rcio ir\u00e1 &#8220;ajudar a desenvolver t\u00e9cnicas vi\u00e1veis de propuls\u00e3o para a navega\u00e7\u00e3o em uma era de economia p\u00f3s-carbono&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Projeto hol\u00edstico <\/p>\n<p>O B9 est\u00e1 com seu projeto sendo avaliado em tanque de provas e t\u00fanel de vento. <\/p>\n<p>O objetivo \u00e9 aprimorar o desenho do casco, para que ele se adapte \u00e0s exig\u00eancias do sistema dyna-rig. <\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e3o avaliados diversos formatos de casco, a fim de obter o m\u00e1ximo de velocidade com a tra\u00e7\u00e3o gerada pelas velas, ao mesmo tempo mantendo as exig\u00eancias para atraca\u00e7\u00e3o nos diversos portos ao redor do mundo. <\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e3o testados tamb\u00e9m os par\u00e2metros de seguran\u00e7a na opera\u00e7\u00e3o do navio em variadas condi\u00e7\u00f5es meteorol\u00f3gicas. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;N\u00f3s estamos projetando o B9 holisticamente, buscando super-efici\u00eancia, combinando a tecnologia dos barcos de corrida com a arquitetura naval mais moderna.
