Ela n\u00e3o \u00e9 a ponte mais longa, nem a mais alta do mundo. O que faz dela uma obra t\u00e3o incr\u00edvel e fascinante \u00e9 a combina\u00e7\u00e3o desses fatores: nenhuma ponte alta \u00e9 t\u00e3o longa quanto ela; nenhuma ponte longa \u00e9 t\u00e3o alta quanto ela. <\/p>\n<p>Inaugurada h\u00e1 quinze dias, a ponte Aizhai levou apenas quatro anos para ser constru\u00edda a 336 metros do ch\u00e3o, o que faz dela a sexta mais alta do mundo. Mas entre as 400 pontes mais altas do planeta nenhuma \u00e9 t\u00e3o longa quanto ela, que se estende por 1176 metros para ligar as cidades de Chongqing e Changsha. A obra custou 208 milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares e incluiu, al\u00e9m da ponte, a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de 64 quil\u00f4metros de rodovias e 129 km de vias alimentadoras. Nossa opini\u00e3o? T\u00e1 barato pra caramba.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"299\" height=\"450\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/china2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Por ligar dois t\u00faneis opostos, os engenheiros usaram o topo das montanhas para construir as torres que sustentam os cabos. Essa caracter\u00edstica tamb\u00e9m causa um efeito surpresa nos motoristas, que n\u00e3o veem as torres em momento algum da viagem, e saem dos t\u00faneis j\u00e1 cercados pelas dezenas de cabos de sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o da ponte. Atr\u00e1s de cada uma das torres de suspens\u00e3o, um par de cabos enormes estabiliza as oscila\u00e7\u00f5es de toda a estrutura, para que n\u00e3o haja risco de danos a outros componentes da ponte. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/china3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o surpreende que esta seja a quarta ponte a cruzar um vale constru\u00edda nos \u00faltimos tr\u00eas anos no pa\u00eds \u2013 as outras tr\u00eas s\u00e3o a Si Du, a Balinghe e a Beipanjiang, todas inauguradas em 2009 e tamb\u00e9m listadas entre as mais altas do mundo.
