Somente sua extens\u00e3o territorial j\u00e1 faz com que a Regi\u00e3o mais remota do Pa\u00eds apresente grande desafios log\u00edsticos, seja para a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de complexos industriais, seja para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7os de transportes e entregas. <\/p>\n<p>A prec\u00e1ria malha vi\u00e1ria e a grande depend\u00eancia do transporte fluvial completam o rol de dificuldades para as opera\u00e7\u00f5es locais. Um grande exemplo disso \u00e9 contado pelo diretor da Transpac\u00edfico, transportadora especializada na Regi\u00e3o Norte, Jardel Pires. <\/p>\n<p>De acordo com ele, fazer transporte por aquelas bandas exige muito planejamento, conhecimento e capacidade de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cUma cidade bastante cr\u00edtica \u00e9 Cruzeiro do Sul, do Acre, que sua rodovia de acesso fica aberta durante apenas tr\u00eas meses. Al\u00e9m disso, ela \u00e9 bastante prec\u00e1ria, com muito barro. N\u00e3o podem passar caminh\u00f5es com mais de tr\u00eas toneladas naquela rodovia. O Norte depende muito da situa\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica\u201d, conta o executivo. <\/p>\n<p>Pires tamb\u00e9m explica que durante as chuvas, em alguns locais a carga s\u00f3 consegue ser transportada por meio do transporte fluvial, o que pode demorar mais de um m\u00eas, ou por avi\u00e3o, o que eleva consideravelmente o custo da opera\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, Jardel Pires diz que o faturamento do polo industrial de Manaus foi de US$ 35 bilh\u00f5es em 2010 e as empresas estimam um resultado ainda maior para este ano. Por\u00e9m, o n\u00famero e o potencial avan\u00e7o n\u00e3o sustenta a defici\u00eancia da infraestrutura da Regi\u00e3o, que ainda carece de grandes investimentos. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTivemos uma promessa de que at\u00e9 o final da gest\u00e3o do Governo Lula ter\u00edamos a conclus\u00e3o da BR-319, que liga Porto Velho a Manaus. Isso seria uma grande evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, uma vez que j\u00e1 existia essa rodovia, mas ela se acabou.
