Inicialmente prevista para ir da Esta\u00e7\u00e3o S\u00e3o Joaquim da Linha 1-Azul at\u00e9 a Vila Brasil\u00e2ndia, na Zona Norte, o ramal deve ter uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o de tra\u00e7ado: em vez de terminar no centro, seguir\u00e1 at\u00e9 o Jardim An\u00e1lia Franco, na Zona Leste. Na outra ponta, ser\u00e1 estendida at\u00e9 Pirituba. <\/p>\n<p>O estudo do novo tra\u00e7ado ser\u00e1 apresentado ao governador Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB), que dar\u00e1 o aval sobre as mudan\u00e7as. Em paralelo, deve ser feito o projeto funcional do prolongamento da linha &#8211; a primeira etapa da obra -, a partir da Esta\u00e7\u00e3o S\u00e3o Joaquim. <\/p>\n<p>A constru\u00e7\u00e3o da Linha 6-Laranja ganhou destaque nos \u00faltimos 15 dias dentro da administra\u00e7\u00e3o estadual e se tornou prioridade do governo do Estado. Isso acontece pelo imbr\u00f3glio na licita\u00e7\u00e3o da Linha 5-Lil\u00e1s, suspensa depois que surgiram den\u00fancias de conluio entre empresas participantes da licita\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>A Linha 6-Laranja foi projetada inicialmente para ter 16 quil\u00f4metros e 14 esta\u00e7\u00f5es. Ela vai passar por bairros como Liberdade, Bela Vista e Higien\u00f3polis, na regi\u00e3o central, Perdizes e Pompeia, na Zona Oeste, e Freguesia do \u00d3 e Vila Brasil\u00e2ndia, na Zona Norte da capital paulista. <\/p>\n<p>A extens\u00e3o dever\u00e1 passar por bairros como Cambuci, Ipiranga e Mooca. E seguir pela regi\u00e3o da Zona Leste de S\u00e3o Paulo at\u00e9 cruzar com a futura Linha 15-Branca (Vila Prudente-Tiquatira), na altura da Esta\u00e7\u00e3o An\u00e1lia Franco.
