{"id":19842,"date":"2011-01-26T23:05:46","date_gmt":"2011-01-26T23:05:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/?p=19842"},"modified":"2011-01-26T15:50:31","modified_gmt":"2011-01-26T15:50:31","slug":"termeletrica-a-carvao-sera-inaugurada-com-promessa-de-nao-poluir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institutodeengenharia.org.br\/site\/2011\/01\/26\/termeletrica-a-carvao-sera-inaugurada-com-promessa-de-nao-poluir\/","title":{"rendered":"Termel\u00e9trica a carv\u00e3o ser\u00e1 inaugurada com promessa de n\u00e3o poluir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nA terceira fase da Usina Termel\u00e9trica Candiota 3 ser\u00e1 inaugurada na pr\u00f3xima sexta-feira (28), com a presen\u00e7a da presidente Dilma Rousseff. <\/p>\n<p>Localizada na cidade de Candiota, no sul do Rio Grande do Sul, a termel\u00e9trica tem capacidade instalada de 350 megawatts e come\u00e7ou a gerar energia no dia 3 de janeiro. <\/p>\n<p>A obra, avaliada em R$ 1,3 bilh\u00e3o, teve financiamento de US$ 430 milh\u00f5es do China Development Bank (CDB) e foi constru\u00edda pela Companhia de Gera\u00e7\u00e3o T\u00e9rmica de Energia El\u00e9trica (CGTEE). <\/p>\n<p>Dessulfurizadores <\/p>\n<p>A grande novidade da nova usina \u00e9 a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de dessulfurizadores, uma tecnologia que reduz os impactos ambientais da termel\u00e9trica. <\/p>\n<p>Segundo o presidente da CGTEE, Sereno Chaise, a mesma tecnologia ser\u00e1 utilizada tamb\u00e9m nas usinas antigas, muito poluentes. &#8220;Hoje, a energia produzida a carv\u00e3o, desde que se adapte a esses instrumentos, pode ser considerada energia limpa. E a nova usina conta com todos eles. Vai significar agress\u00e3o zero ao meio ambiente&#8221;, garantiu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"336\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/site\/userfiles\/usina_2(1).jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chaise deve aproveitar a inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o da fase C da usina para anunciar a contrata\u00e7\u00e3o da empresa que far\u00e1 os estudos t\u00e9cnicos para amplia\u00e7\u00e3o da termel\u00e9trica, com a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da fase D. <\/p>\n<p>Dos 350 megawatts instalados, 292 megawatts j\u00e1 foram comercializados em leil\u00e3o da Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Energia El\u00e9trica, em dezembro de 2005. <\/p>\n<p>Energia do carv\u00e3o <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hoje, 46% da energia produzida em todo o mundo \u00e9 origin\u00e1ria do carv\u00e3o. Aqui no Brasil, esse percentual \u00e9 de 1,2%. As nossas jazidas de carv\u00e3o s\u00e3o inesgot\u00e1veis. Se fizermos toda nossa energia oriunda a carv\u00e3o, temos energia para mais de 500 anos. O combust\u00edvel est\u00e1 a\u00ed, os financiamentos internacionais est\u00e3o batendo na nossa porta. Ent\u00e3o, por que n\u00e3o fazer?&#8221;, disse ele ao defender o investimento. <\/p>\n<p>Para o presidente da Empresa de Pesquisa Energ\u00e9tica (EPE), Maur\u00edcio Tolmasquim, a nova usina traz seguran\u00e7a energ\u00e9tica para a Regi\u00e3o Sul, onde o potencial hidrel\u00e9trico j\u00e1 est\u00e1 esgotado.
