Voc\u00ea est\u00e1 olhando para os vest\u00edgios de uma delas, localizada em Oklo, no Gab\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>Os cientistas deduzem que esses reatores surgiram por causas naturais, como resultado da abund\u00e2ncia e densidade do Ur\u00e2nio-235 \u2013 um is\u00f3topo do ur\u00e2nio natural presente em nosso planeta e em todo o Sistema Solar. H\u00e1 dois bilh\u00f5es de anos, existiam 3.000 \u00e1tomos de U-235 para 100.000 \u00e1tomos de outros materiais. <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de ter pelo menos 1$ de U-235 e ser grande o suficiente para sustentar a rea\u00e7\u00e3o, esses fornos nucleares naturais precisavam de uma baixa concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de absorvedores de n\u00eautrons (como o c\u00e1dmio) e alta concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de um material moderador (como \u00e1gua ou carbono).
